Home additions that look like they were always there
Sometimes the right answer isn’t finishes — it’s space. If you love your Boca neighborhood but your home no longer fits your life, a well-designed addition can be far better than starting over somewhere else. The craft is making it look like it was always there.
What people add
The most common additions we build are expanded primary suites, great-room and kitchen extensions, enclosed or new lanais, home offices and guest wings, and — where the lot and code allow — second stories. Each is a chance to fix a floor plan that no longer works.
Designing it to belong
The difference between an addition that adds value and one that looks tacked on is design: matching roofline, materials, window proportions, and scale to the existing home. Get that right and no one can tell where the old house ends and the new begins.
Engineering and the site
Additions have to work with setbacks, easements, the existing foundation and structure, and drainage. In gated communities, they also go through architectural review. We plan all of it up front so the project is buildable and approvable — not a design that gets rejected in committee.
